An Overview

Core facilities in petrochemical industry, such as fluid catalytic cracking unit, ethylene cracking furnace, hydrogenation reactor and coal gasifier, are exposed to high temperature, strong gas flow scouring and complex corrosive atmosphere for a long time. The adopted refractories are prone to structural damage due to chemical corrosion and thermal shock, thus necessitating stringent requirements for material purity, volumetric stability, resistance to chemical attack and thermal shock resistance.

 

Applications

Synthetic materials produced by our company, including tabular alumina, sintered mullite, α-alumina ultrafines etc., are widely used in petrochemical reactor linings, high performance refractory castables and critical high-temperature structural areas. Through matrix composition design and optimization in particle size distribution, the mentioned raw material products can enhance density, thermal shock resistance and resistances to alkali and slag of the refractory products, providing reliable assurance for a safe, efficient and continuous operation of various facilities in high-temperature environment.
